About The Tactical Philanthropy Blog

Sean launched the Tactical Philanthropy blog in 2006. Over the years it evolved into a hub of debate for philanthropy issues. The vibrant Tactical Philanthropy community of 25,000 monthly readers was made up of foundation professionals, nonprofit employees, energetic college students, major donors and a host of people working in the for-profit sector with a mission to drive social impact. Over the years the blog emerged as one of the most influential in the sector. In 2012, Sean retired from blogging to focus on growing Ensemble Capital Management, his wealth management firm that specializes in serving philanthropic families.

Tactical Philanthropy is a blog about philanthropy and nothing published here should be considered investment, tax or legal advice.
