I taped a segment about family philanthropy for Benefit Magazine Radio this weekend. It airs Saturday December 16th, at 7pm on 960 AM for those of you in the San Francisco bay area.
"Benefit Magazine’s radio show is the essential and authoritative voice of the new philanthropic lifestyle in San Francisco. Each week host Ruby Tourk interviews the people, the foundations and the volunteers in the community who are leading the charge, like Mayor Gavin Newsom, Sharon Stone, Robin Williams, Harry Denton, Bruce Vilanch, The Gettys and others. Tourk profiles the people who are making a difference in local arts, culture, education, environment, health, and civil rights."
I’m not aware of any other ongoing radio programs that are devoted to philanthropy. If you listen to any similar programming, let me know.
