The newest posting on the Tactical Philanthropy Job Board comes from Foundation Source:
Foundation Source is a philanthropic services company that provides and administers private foundations from $250,000 to over $250 million. Our headquarters are in Fairfield, CT., about one hour outside of New York City. We currently have 750 clients and over $3 billion in assets under administration, and that number will likely double in the next few years. Many of our foundations are established by living donors who are successful entrepreneurs—they are exploring interesting and exciting new approaches to their philanthropy and Foundation Source helps them execute their ideas. The organization itself is still fairly young and entrepreneurial, and as such offers an ideal work environment for an individual who is highly motivated and looking for a position in a fast-paced, exciting environment.
Private Client Advisers (PCAs) are the single point of contact for a group of private foundations and their board members, staff, financial advisors, and other trusted counselors. The PCA guides clients through all aspects of Foundation Source services and must have the professional demeanor to become a trusted advisor in whom clients have great confidence. The PCA is the first line of support, and will become a very strong generalist in all aspects of running a private foundation—compliance, grants administration, governance, investments, taxes, etc. An ideal candidate would have spent time at a family foundation, family office or similar experience. Diplomacy, organizational skills and technology savvy are essential ingredients for a successful candidate. Salary starts at $60K with full benefits and potential for a year-end bonus.
