Friday Afternoon Mental Health Break

Today I’m kicking off a new series on Tactical Philanthropy: The Friday Afternoon Mental Health Break. I work crazy hard. So do you. Sometimes you just need to take a break and change gears for a moment. One of the best, most productive ways to take a mental health break is to expose yourself to something entertaining, engaging, enlightening and educational. So every Friday afternoon, I’m going to start posting a short video clip that will hopefully fulfill those four goals.

Starting things off we have a clip of Bobby McFerrin showing how to get people to work together. In philanthropy, we often need to get people to collaborate. But too often we get bogged down arguing over details. Watch as McFerrin stands up in front of an audience with no prep work and gets them to sing in unison and sound beautiful. Simply awe inspiring.
