Bill Gates has started using Twitter to "Sharing cool things I'm learning through my foundation work and other interests…" Comically, his first tweet is a Tiger Woods joke and his second action is to retweet Ryan Seacrest. Twitter has verified that this is the real Bill Gates.

I missed this in December. The Case Foundation offered a list of its grantees, with descriptions, and a link for individuals to make a donation to each online. I've long argued that foundations should share what they know with individual donors and this is a small, but important example.
