MyRegistry.com – Fundraising Tools for Organizations and Nonprofits
MyRegistry.com, a gift registry website, has launched a service for nonprofits to set up an online “registry” of items they need that donors can purchase for them. While I tend to encourage general operating support gifts, evidence shows people like making gifts for specific items. Wedding registries work because they give the bride and groom control, but let guests give a specific gift rather than write a check. Maybe nonprofit registries can offer something similar?
